Trivandrum Lockdown Train Booking Online Reservation |Trivandrum IRCTC Covid-19 Special Train Ticket E- Booking Starts from May 12:
Trivandrum: The Indian Railway Ministry has announced that the passenger train will be operated from May 12. For the first time in India, 15 special trains from Trivandrum will be operated to major cities of India tomorrow.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways department said that the passenger train service is scheduled to be gradually launched from May 12. Trains will be launched from Trivandrum to 15 major cities around India. Tickets for special trains will start from 4 pm tomorrow. IRCTC can only be booked on the website.
The curfew is being implemented nationwide until May 17 to control the spread of corona. Rail, bus and air traffic are all disabled. In this backdrop, the Railway Ministry has decided to operate the trains from tomorrow (May 12).
Booking will start on May 11 at 4 pm on IRCTC website
Booking for reservation in these trains will start at 4 pm on May 11 and this booking will be available only on the IRCTC website.Special trains are available from Trivandrum, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Dibrugarh, Ahmedabad, Jammu Devi, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar and Bilaspur. Only those who have booked tickets will be admitted to the train station.
According to the railway, ticket booking counters at the stations will remain closed and no tickets including platform tickets will be issued from the station. Without corona infection, only those wearing the mask are allowed to board the train. Thus stated in the statement.
