“Happy Narada Jayanti Festival 2020”
Narada Jayanti is celebrated every year on the Krishna Paksha Dwitiya of May month.
Narada Muni was born from the lap of Brahma, the creator of the world. It is said that Narada attained the position of Brahmarshi after hard penance.
Hindu scriptures, Narada is considered one of the seven Manas sons of Brahma. It is observed on next tithi of the Vaishaka Purnima. According to north Indian purnimant calenders it is observed on the Krishna paksha pratipada in the month of Jyesta. It falls in the month of Vaishaka in amavasyant calenders. This year, Narada Jayanti is on Tuesday, 7th May 2020.
Narada is sage and Devotee of Narayana (God Vishnu). He is considered as old-time messenger, first journalist, and can visit any loka at will. People visit Vishnu temples on this day and few observe fast. Reading Narada Bhakti Sutra, Naradiya Dharmashastra, Narada Pancharatra and Narada Purana are considered auspicious on Narada Jayanti day.

About Narada Muni or Narad muni
Sage Narada is ardent devotee of Lord Narayana, which is one of the forms of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu in the form of Narayana is considered an embodiment of the truth.
It is believed that Sage Narada appeared from the forehead of Lord Brahma. Some Puranas like the Vishnu Purana suggest he is the son of Sage Kashyapa. In Swayumbuva Manvantara, he is described as Manasa Putra of Lord Brahma, while in Vyvasvata <anvantara he has been described as a Deva Gandharva born to sage Kashyapa.
