Hingoli: A 12 year old girl Priyanka Shivaji Kamble (12) was killed by slitting her throat at Nandusa in Hingoli taluk. Police arrested the accused before the case was registered at Basamba police station.

The district was shaken by the incident where Priyanka Kamble was strangled to death at her home in Nandusa in Hingoli taluka on Thursday (Dec. 21) morning. A team comprising Superintendent of Police Yogesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent Rameshwar Vaijane, Assistant Inspector of Police Rajesh Malpillu of Basamba Police Station, Sub-Inspector Bhosale, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Magan Pawar, Jamadar Punjab Haral, Bhagwan Mandlik, Gorle and Pravin Rathod visited the spot. 

At this time, Deputy Superintendent Vaij formed a police squad and started searching for the accused on the one hand and the accused on the other.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Magan Pawar questioned Priyanka’s younger brother in the case. Based on the information he provided, Pawar interrogated a minor girl. She also said that a young man gave her a mobile phone. Although the accused was acquitted, the question arose as to how to interrogate him as he was comforting the young Kamble family. However, Pawar took him to the police station asking for an answer.

After Basamba’s Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Magan Pawar arrived at the spotTwo to three people were taken away and interrogated. That investigation found a thread of murder. He interrogated the minor girl. She also said that a young man gave her a mobile phone. 

 A team of Deputy Superintendent of Police Vaijne and Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Pawar conducted a ‘thorough’ inquiry at the spot. Accused Balaji alias Gopal Aade confessed to the murder as it was obstructing the love affair. A case of murder has been registered against Balaji alias Gopal Aade (22) at Basamba police station on Friday (Dec. 22) on a complaint by Shivaji Kamble.

So the needle of suspicion turned to whom. Seeing the blood stains on the nails of the accused, Pawar became suspicious and the accused was found by the police. But since he was comforting the young Kamble family, the question arose as to how to interrogate him. However, Pawar took him to the police station saying that he wanted to get an answer.
