BMTC Allows 3500 Buses to be Operated in Bengaluru from tomorrow onwards with Maximum 30 passengers:
Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) Says that Operation of buses will be increased to 3500 from tomorrow in Bengaluru. Maximum 30 passengers/upto seating capacity will be allowed in the buses.
Many people asks that will bus driver still ask for PASS? Or will they start issuing ticket for single way journey?
It is good to see normalcy gradually coming back in Bangalore after months of lockdown.
Surely BMTC will provide tickets, Making Bus Pass mandatory is not feasible. Lets wait and see.
If the BMTC Re-introduce the epass instead of bus tickets, we will update the news and stay here for more live updates.
A proposal was sent to the government for introduction of flat fare system and same was approved for implementation with effect from 26.05.2020: Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC)
